Mazda Repair: battery cable, after market parts

Question
Joshua,
I have a 2002 Mazda 626 that cut off a couple of months ago and I have not been able to start it since. I have replaced the spark plugs and wires, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and the battery. My father-in-law says the battery cables are corroded. Should I trust cables from an afermarket parts store or should I go to the dealer? Also, if that does not work, what else can it be?

Answer
after market parts are fine they have to made to oem standards to be sold. i had a similare problem with my 626 and it turned out to be the main ground wires you can try jumping your starter to see if it is the wires but if your geting power it's not the wires it could be the ground wires thouth
