Mazda Repair: cooling fan, speed switch, blower motor

Question
90 miata speed.  after change fan switch, my fan engages, but only blows very hot air?  Is this normal.  I also am in Las Vegas.

I need more information.  By fan you mean the AC blower motor?  As for hot air, is the compressor engaging and does it have a full freon charge?  Do the selectors operate, since you changed the switch (assuming you mean the AC/blower speed switch, center dash)  The assembly would have been removed which would mean the selector cables were pulled free, they must be set to position for the selectors to work properly otherwise you could be getting heater air, outside air, etc.
