Mazda Repair: clutch safety switch, starter solenoid, clutch pedal

Question
my 1993 mazda 626 is not starting-checked battery and tried to jump. I have been told it could be the clutch safety switch.  Is there a way to bypass this in order to test to see if it is the problem?  Do you have any other suggestions.  Dash lights come on but it won't try to turn over.  IT started once but when I let off clutch to go it died and would not start again.

Thank you for any help you can offer!

Answer
It's not my area of expertise however, you have a clutch interlock switch which is located at the top of the clutch pedal, this keeps you from starting the car without the pedal engaged.  The transmission also has a neutral switch located on the transmission main body that detects an in gear situation and reports to the ECU.  Both are two wire configurations that can utilize a bypass test lead for diagnostics.  With them bypassed the car can start in gear with our without the clutch pedal depressed, use caution.  The devices interrupt the ignition signal to the starter solenoid when in normal operation so the result is the starter will not engage.
