disconnect the battery, drain the radiator, remove the radiator hose from the thermostat housing 4 cyclinder or coolant pipe V6 models remove coolant pipe mounting bolts and pull the coolant pipe out of the thermostat cover, detact the cover from the engine, note the thermostat direction and remove it, clean the mounting surface, install new gasket fill the cooling system and run the engne checking for leaks
