Mazda Repair: mazda (85) 12A engine, apex seals, 12a engine

Have lost an apex seal in #2 rotor. #1 rotor seems to be fine. Question: can I replace all 3 apex seals and related seals in #2 rotor without tearing down complete engine? Would be most grateful for your take on this. Thanks

You will be removing fasteners and affecting seals for all five housings/ends.  So no, working on a single rotor is not a viable option, without a controlled tear down it will likely cause issues with other areas.  Not saying impossible, just not likely you'll successfully remove one end a rotor and a housing without disturbing the others.
