Hi
I have a problem with my Mazda MX6, the car will not start at all, the engine will turn but it will not start, i have checked and found that there is no spark going into the spark plugs, could you please tell me what is causeing this to happen and what i can do to fix the problem.

Thks Mike

Answer
I'm not up on that car.  But no spark means it either isn't getting the signal meaning either the cam(s) are not rotating hence a broken timing belt or the magnetic pickup is not sensing rotation or the coil(s) are not firing.  If you can look into the oil filler and see the top of a cam, have someone crank the motor while your looking in to see if the cam rotates.  If so then one part ruled out.  Does it have a crankshaft pick up sensor, camshaft position sensor or a distributor.  If a distributor then the pickup is either in there or is a non serviceable part of the assembly.
