Mazda Repair: Electrical problem, broken wires, mazda 626

Question
I have a 1993 Mazda 626 ES with about 120km and lately I have been going thru fuses like no tomorrow.  The fuse that controls the lights for my dashboard, radio and rear lights continuosly blows.  I have tried unplugging the rear plate light, back-up lights and stop lights but the problem still exists.  Can you be of assistance before I take it in to my mechanic.  Thanks alot
