Mazda Repair: Mazda MX6 - Vacuum leak, mazda mx6, vacuum leak

Question
I know I have a vacuum leak and I had read one of your answers to your questions (Just get an intake cleaner or throttle body cleanly and spray the engine down with the engine running, and if the idle changes any more or the engine wants to stall out, you will get an idea where the leak is when you spray in that are) so when I find the leak, how can I fix it? Do I need to take it to someone or will I be able to fix this myself? Your help will be Greatly Appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Answer
It depends on what you find during the test. If you find a hose with a crack in it, this it may be as simple as replacing a two dollar hose. If you find that there is a leak where the intake manifold meets the head, then you may have to remove the manifold and replace the gasket. If a component such as a brake booster is leaking, then you would have to replace the booster.
