Mazda Repair: speed dometer/shift lock, thieft, shift lock

i have a mazda 94 626,and i bought it farly cheap like 600 dollars anyway im now having problems with it...my turn signals went out and i found out it was the relay...but now my speedometer dont work and i cant put it into gear when i start the car and try to put it into drive its an automatic.i was told this might be the antitheft but i cant find the fuse to it were the mechanic told me to check it.i need help

got diff things here.. it's not the anti-thieft if it starts. i believe thats a cable driven speedo, so the easiest way is to pull out the cluster gages and see if the cable is spinning ok, 3rd problem may be the shifter interlock,  there is a small hole that you can stick something like a small screwdriver to release the shifter, i've seen them get all gunked up with spilled soda, coffee in them, when you step on the brake pedal, you should hear the actuator pulling the mech back so you can get into gear. btw, sounds like the speedo cable was pulled out maybe when someone was doing the relay.
