Mazda Repair: Engine Overheating, coolant level, radiator fan

Question
My 1992 mazda miata slowly overheats.  Coolant level is fine, checked it while the car was running and while it was turned off.  It doesn't over heat quickly, just slowly creeps up until it gets to 3/4 then i shut it off.  Usually does it when going at slower speeds, never seen it happen on highways.  Any ideas as to what it could be?

Answer
Hi troy thanks for asking,
this sounds like your radiator fan is not working any more, let the vehcle run for a little bit and watch the temperature gauge, when the gauge hits aboiut the half way mart to 3/4 then the cooling fan should kick in and u should be able to hear it. if it doesn not turn on and over heat then there is something wrong with the fan or the fan circuit, haqve it checked out and get back to me with the results.
good luck
