Mazda Repair: 1990 Miata A/C, luck chris, ac system

Question
The A/C on my 1990 Miata (40,000 miles) wasn't cooling well. Dealer determined there was a slow leak.  The dealer converted a/c system to R134A, evacuated and recharged system.  Found leaks from valve and 2 seals.  Needs a part (pipe?) to repair this but he is having trouble finding part.  Has added refrigerant but a/c still not cooling.  Does any of this sound familiar to you.  I'm not sure if I'm getting the runaround. Had to pay him $300 for work done to get my car back while we wait for pipe to complete job. I'm not sure if this "part" even exists. Thanks for any help.

Answer
Ji Jean thanks for asking,
there are many "pipes on an AC system and they are common for leaks, especialy if they have flex parts on them, this vehicle is 17 years old, and i usualy dont see Ac system still with r-12, they all somewhere get leaks and have to be converted to R134 within 8 years. when AC componets start to go, then it basically falls downhill from there. AC jobs that i constintly do run on average about 1000 dollars canadian. I almost wouldnt be suprised if they replace these parts tha another one is crossed.
good luck
