Mazda Repair: 1995 Mazda 929, head gasket leak, 1995 mazda 929

Hi CRIS i have a 1995 Mazda 929 V6 it keeps over heating after 1hour of driving. the temperture gage is not all the way hot but the overflow hose on the radiater shoots steam and makes a humming sound. When it overheats the water is usually low again. Also is there a certian type of coolant that i should use? please help me. thank you!

Hi Mark thanks for asking,
I would Have someone check if there is a possible head gasket leak. You only have to use the regular green cooland and it has to be mixed 50/50 with just water. Or first check to see if the cooling fans are operating they should turn in when theengine gets hot, just past the half way mark on the gauge.
