Mazda Repair: Tail light removal, 1992 mazda mx3, 10mm nuts

Question
I am trying to remove the tail light from my wifes 1992 Mazda MX3. The owner's manual doesn't give a very good explanation. she smashed the tail light and I am replacing it with one I bought on eBay. I don't want to break anything inside.

Thanks

Bill Michel

Answer
Hi Bill thanks for asking,
im not to dure on what style this uses, but for tail light there are usual only two ways to remove them. some on the top oof the tail light has two phillips head srews holding the light in. or the other way is, you will have to remove the trim on the inside of the trunk behind the tail light and there will either be a few 10mm nuts  or a few plastic wingnuts holding the tail light in, replacing the taillight is pretty staight forward..
good luck
