Mazda Repair: left front door, mazda tribute, pain in the butt

The passenger door on my 2002 mazda tribute can not be opened. the power lock is broken inside the latch and can,t get at it to unlock.if you can help, thank you very much.

Hi Ernie thanks for asking..
 This is always a pain in the Butt. You are going to have to try removing the door panel from the inside of the vehicle. It is an almost impossible task to do without doing some kind of damage to the door panel. But you may be able to find a new door panel in a local srcap yard for fairly cheap. After you get the door panel off you should be able to get at the lock and latch assemblies. play with a couple of rods and the door should pop open. let me know how things go
