Mercedes Benz repair: speedometer, speedometer cable, speedo cable

Just has a new timing chain installed 1600.00.
Now my speedometer comes and goes works sometimes.
What isthe most likely fix

depends on your model a timing chain would not cause your speedometer cable to go funky. Have you modded the tires or rims Is it ittemintant or comes and goes. Anyways your speedo cable is faulty depending on if it is electronic or mechanical you will either have to replace the speedo cable or the whole dash unit.
