Mercedes Benz repair: 1996 Mercedes E320, crankshaft position sensor, torx screw

My car stalled the other day, I let it sit for almost an hour then it cranked right up. What can be causing this problem?

Answer
Replace the crankshaft position sensor located at the area of the transmission bell housing.Small torx screw holding it in . Press the tab on the end of the harness to release the connector. You can access it from under the hood if you raise the hood all the way up.
