My car detalls are
M. BENZ W 124 1988---1994
Engine Type 602  or try 601
2500cc 5 cylinder
Firing order 12453
Diesel E250 or 250D ( Indian Model is E250 )Try even 190 D as it is a
similar 4 cylinder baby Mercedes engine that came out just before my
model and has similar FIPump
Chassis type 124
What I need to know is Fuel Injection Timing ( it may be 15⁰After Top
Dead Centre at standstill )
15⁰ATDC or ?
Hydraulic Valve Clearances for In & Ex valves ( I use 012"as it suits
our climate)
Bore Dia.
Stroke length
My Main Need is FIP Timing to avoid Knock as that seems to be the trouble.

This should be an OM617 five cylinder engine.
I understand it is still made in India today.
