Where can i obtain repair instruction/procedure etc. to refurbish the steering box / column and where are appropriate spare parts available from?

There is excessive play in the steering mechanism and it "knocks" at the steering wheel end.

I do not rebuild them, each series requires $600.00 USD of special tools for proper service.
There is also the legal liability involved.

It may be in the MB manual.
