Mercedes Benz repair: to change an fuel filter, vacuum line, mercedesshop

so many bolts/screws is it this hard to replace or what? dont have/cant find manuel to show how to do it yourself. 1989 560SEC and the car jumps hard when going from 15 to 20 mph, was told its the fuel filter. (almost like it dies but doesnt). and car shows running hot, and my fan outside of radiator wont come on? please I love my baby help me...california girl learning about her benz!

This will require hands on diagnosis, the issue does not sound like a filter issue.

The real issue may be as simple as a broken vacuum line.

My best advice is to find a good independent MB shop near you.
