Mercedes Benz repair: S600 wont start, problem mb, dead battery

wont' start but makes fast pace clicking sound.  battery has been replace in last year.  what kind of issues could cause this?

Was this vehicle in storage?

Possible cause:
* Parasitic draw with key off = trunk/glove box light, etc.
* Charging problem.
