Mercedes Benz repair: bad running 560SL, mercedes benz 560sl, amp fuse

Question
I'm in Phoenix, with a 1986 560SL with 140k.  It ran great one day and then would not idle.  I have replaced the plugs and wires and totally cleaned the injecters, the lines, and the fuel distributer.  It seemed to help but still back fires at low (under 1000) rpm.  Any other sugestions?

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Answer
Answer:
If your car has an Overload Relay, replace the 10 AMP fuse with a new one.
The mechanical timing needs to be checked.
Inspect all vacuum hoses/lines for leaks.
Inspect the E.H.A. valve mounted on fuel distributor for leaks.
Remove the Idle Control Valve, inspect the inside air passage for obstructions, clean as needed.
Check the rubber breathers to the injectors and idle control valve.
Check the idle control relay.
Check for bad/cracked injector seals.
