Mercedes Benz repair: Oil smell, mercedes 190e, vacuum lines

1992 (K) Mercedes 190e 2.0 Auto 133K miles Milton Keynes.
Hi I have just got this car and it runs well but I get this smell of hot oil coming through the air vents once it is warmed up. I don't see any evidence of oil loss or leaking the temperature of the car is just above 80 when warm. the sound of the car when running sounds like it is hunting.

Find and fix the leak, and both issues should be gone.

All hoses on the engine should be a snug fit, no cracking or leaking.
