First of all thank for having this great site as I am a mercedes lover (I own 3 mercedes) and the one that I am having problems is my favorite 380 sl 6 cylinder.

I recently replaced the fuel pump of my mercedes (the car sat for about a year).  There is fuel at the injectors and the car started for about 2 minutes and then die.  The pump is working fine and I replaced the filter and the fuel in the tank.  The car cranks and it seems like is going to start but it never does.  Do I have to purge/bleed injectors some how? how can I get them clean if I need to?  somebody mention a fuel relay where is this located? should I attempt to open the fuel distributor to clean it or replace something there?
