Mercedes Benz repair: 1986 300SE Park Brake locked, cable movement, jason park

Question
I have a 86 300SE European model that I am currently trying to fix. It has been sitting for about 6 months, and when we went to move it today, it seemed that the park brake was stuck. What should I do? Anything else I should do before we get it back on the road considering how long it has been sitting? Thanks for your help, it is much appreciated. -Jason

Answer
Park brake is located inside the rear rotor = remove wheel, remove caliper, there may be a 6mm Allen that needs to be removed, holding the rotor to hub, remove parking brake, test for proper cable movement, and if it is OK, clean inside rotor, and reassemble.
