Mercedes Benz repair: Ignition locked 94-C220, mercedes benz c, number search results

My 94-C220 has always run alright. I recently changed the brake pads myself; it has almost 99,000 mi. on it. I tried starting it a few days later and the key won't turn. I can force the key barely enough to break the steering wheel loose, but nothing more. It (the key) will break if i turn it any further; it is about half-way to the "Accessory Mode". I have wiggled it; almost broke it; shook my car; nothing works. I have 2-keys and tried both. It has never had any problems starting-up before this. I am not sure if the brakes play a role; but I let you know in case. ThankYou

This is a mechanical failure, the following part has failed = dealer or locksmith repair.
Call the dealer, they may send a technician or have it towed.
