Mercedes Benz repair: Mercedes Fuel Distributor, fuel distributor, fri

Question
I just found this website, so you may have answered this question before. It does not concern a diesel, but rather a 1985 500SEL. I have a perforated fuel distributor diaphram. I have replaced plenty of these when Bosch sold the service kit. Obviously, they no longer do and the price of the entire assembly is another example of legalized robbery. Price for a used part is an insult as well..... Can you suggest any other resources?
