MG Car Repair: Heat Shield MGTF 1953 -1955

Hi Barrie,
I read your response on heat shields for T Series MGs.  I live in Australia, but my 1954 MG TF has the 5 speed conversion by the UK company Hi Gear Engineering. I take it that the heat shield will still fit?
Do you have any method by which I can buy one of your heat shields please? Am I able to buy direct or perhaps you have an Australian distributor?

TF Heat Shield   Hi Richard.  Yes my heat shield will fit your TF.

It does not require any additional spacers because the TF already has spacers.  It is only 0.9mm thick so the extra thickness is not a concern.  I have supplied several to TF owners with 5-speed conversions.  You can buy direct from me.  It would be easier if you contact me via the T Register website www.tregister.org
