MG Car Repair: MG B GT 1975 Petrol Cap Key, replacement petrol, mg b gt

Hello Brian,

I have somehow managed to lose the key to the petrol cap on my 1975 MG B GT - is it worth trying to pick the lock myself or do you think I'd be as well calling an auto locksmith? I see replacement petrol caps with keys on eBay for £15, so I suppose this is the best option.

If you have any ideas though, I'd appreciate it!

I suppose you could give a go at trying to pick the lock yourself but it is likely to be frustrating and non-productive, but you have nothing to lose except your time and temper. An auto locksmith would be your best bet in my opinion.  Sorry, no other ideas. Good luck!
