MG Car Repair: 69 m g transmission leak, rear seal, drive shaft

I have oil dripping from the rear of the drive shaft tunnel. Am guessing it is a rear transmission seal.Is their any way to change it with out pulling engine and transmission? Any info on how to change would also be very much appreciated!  Thanks  Max

Hi Max,
If you confirm that the rear seal is what is leaking it can be changed without removing the engine and transmission. Keep in mind that sometimes the reason the rear seal is leaking is because the tailshaft bearing is bad and that can not be changed in the car.
