MG Car Repair: mgb gt wiring diagram, fuse box, tracer wire

Question
my 1974 mgb gt has a problem where the white wire green stripe has no power at coil when key switch is in on position and thus quits running when solonoid disengages .
can u tell me where i can find a wire diagram. 1974 1/2 mgb gt

Hi Bernard,
If you have a white w/light green wire on your coil you have a resistor wire that powers it from a white wire off of the fuse box.
Turn the key to Ignition position and check the fuse box for a white wire to see if it is powered. If it is not then check the fuse. If it is powered then check the resistor wire that the white w/light green tracer wire plugs into.
