Nissan Repair: Nissan Primera S - 53 plate, nissan garage, nissan primera

Hi, The Vehicle requires Services keeps appearing on the computer control panel on my dashboard - have had the car serviced - is there any way of removing this pop up without taking to a Nissan Garage for it to be removed - please help as driving me crazy everytime I start the car.

Hello -

That light is the check engine light. You have sensors that constantly monitor vehicle operation, about a 100 of them. If one of them gets a faulty reading, then it activates that light. Unfortunaltely only the dealer and certain repair shops have the machine to diagnose the light to tell you what is causing it to illuminate. Normally, it is nothing serious, especially if the vehicle is still operating normally.

To answer your question, the only way the light can be turned off is to have it reset by the person with the diagnostic.
