MG Car Repair: MG Midget hub, wheel bearings, disc brakes

Howard I have a 78 mg midget with disc brakes. When jacked up you can shake the tire (drivers side). I've replaced the wheel bearings and spindle axle to no avail. Could it be the hub? Any suggestions? Can't find any hubs online,magazines,or in Las Vegas.

Hi Dale,
You need to look closely when moving the wheel to see where the free play is. Is this car wire wheel or disk wheel? How did you adjust the preload on the wheel bearings? You should not replace parts until you know what is wrong and only replace a defective part.
