HELP

Answer
Hi Debra,
Sorry, but that sounds serious enough that you need to have a mechanic look at it as any attempt to just put coolant back in and run it could do major damage if it is not already damaged.

I would always tell my customers that when they see the temp gauge go over normal they have very few minutes to stop and check why it is over heating or they will have major damage. If they see the oil pressure gauge go down while on the road, they only have seconds before major damage is done.

The noise could be minor or major but you MUST NOT run it any more until you find out exactly what went wrong which could be major or minor.
