MG Car Repair: 1975 mg midget horn problem, cc motor, mg midget

I have a 1975 non california midget w/ a 1498 cc motor. My problem is that only one (the higher pitched ?)horn works. I have a wiring diagram and I have access to the horn switch. It sounds weak and feeble and I would like to have both horns working correctly. how can I corrct the situation.

Hi Dan.  The problem is not at the switch, it is at the horns. They are wired in parallel, so if one works then they should both work.  Horns are cheap.  I can get a pair for £10 here in the UK.  So, if the one that works is feeble, I would just replace them both and clean up the wires and connectors to the horns.
