hi I'm rebuilding a 1975 1500 mg midget for my wife and am now ready to re fill the water system can you please tell me how much water is needed to fill the system and do i need to bleed the system regards ben

The previous model had a BMC engine of 1275cc.  It took 6 UK pints including the heater.  I am not familiar with the 1500 engine, which came from Triumph, but I doubt that it is much different as regards water capacity.  (The US pint is smaller, so 6 UK pints is 7.5 US pints.)

No need to bleed, but when filling the system, make sure the heater is turned to HOT, and check the water level after running the engine for a few minutes.
