Car Alarms: Sensitive Alarm needs adjusment, shock sensor, toyota camry

Question
The factory alarm in my 2000 Toyota Camry is way too sensative. It goes off all the time (when it's parked and a car passes by, if a ball hits it, etc.) How do I adjust the alarm so that it doesn't go off so often.

Answer
Sorry to correct you, but this is an aftermarket
alarm. If you have access to the brain and shock sensor,
turn down the sensetivity by the wheel located
on the shock sensor, by turning the inset wheel counter clockwise for less sensetivity.

If no access, I suggest goin to the local stereo/car alarm shop and have them inspect and decrease it to suit your needs. Should not be expensive for that.

Good luck with it.
