MG Car Repair: Brake lights, haynes manuel, brake light switch

Question
I have a 77 MGB, (just bought it). The brake lights, hazard lights, and radio have quit working. I have check the fuses and they are fine. All other lights work, (turn signals, parking lights, license plate lights, dashboard, etc.) I have looked at the Haynes manuel and don't see where another fuse might be. I had thought I read somewhere that there's aother fuse behind the dash. Any ideas?

Answer
Hi Murray,
It is not enough to check a fuse. You need to test the wires on each end of a fuse. The fuse with several green wires feeds the brake lights so you need to test the green wires for power with the key on then move to the brake light switch to see if the power is continued. If it is then you need to test the connections at the tail light assembly. If you have power there test the grounds of the tail light assembly.
Always test only one circuit at a time from power to load even though you may have several that don't work.
With a test light and a wiring diagram it is impossible to not find the problem.
