MG Car Repair: 1965 MK1 MGB Roadster Indicator Switch, turn signal switch, roadster factory

Can anybody please provide information on the following.
1. Photo of the mechanism as I believe mine to be incomplete
2. Can parts be bought to refurbish the unit? as I think some springs are missing
3. Is there a more modern alternative to the old unit?
any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Hi Allen,
If you are talking about the turn signal switch? As I remember, all are the same from 63 to 67 and I doubt you will find any components for the switch. You should be able to locate a new switch from one of the parts suppliers like, The Roadster Factory, Engel Imports, Moss Motors, Victoria British or British Parts North West. They all have websites and toll free numbers and e-mail addresses.
