MG Car Repair: coolant leak?, cylinder head gasket, coolant leak

My wife has a 53 plate mgtf, recently had cylinder head gasket renewed, very expensive! Since that time car has increasing coolant leak. Took car back numerous times and eventually decided to pressure test and revealed leak coming from thermostat housing, although nothing seems to have been done to rectify this!. Feel we are getting fobbed off. Could this problem have arisen from repair carried out as previously no leak. Any ideas please. Many thanks

Hi Steve,
I can't comment on what he did or didn't do but any time I put a head gasket on any car I made it a practice to replace the thermostat regardless weather the thermostat was attached to the head as most are. The thermostat housing leak should be an easy fix for any mechanic so I don't see why there is a reluctance for him to fix it.
Was this a British car specialist who did the head gasket?
