MG Car Repair: mg, coolant level, mgb gt

Hi

a simple question i have a mgb gt 1972 do you need to fill radiator with water / water and coolant my car gets very hot and wondered if that was it have not filled it in years

Hi Bryan,
You should check coolant level at least once a month. Some people check their coolant level once a week.
If it is low fill it up and if it still overheats, you have a problem. It can overheat for many reasons so tests need to be run on it to determine the cause.
