MG Car Repair: clutch hydralics, clutch slave cylinder, clutch pedal

Question
1976 MG MGB REPLACED CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER,BUT CANNOT GET ANY FLUID FLOW FROM MASTER CYLINDER DOWN.TRIED REVERSE BLEEDING AND HAS PSI TO PUSH THE NEW FLUID BACK OUT.BUT NOTHING TO THE TOP.ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Answer
Hi Matt,
That is a clear cut one. There is a clear and open path between the slave and the reservoir when the clutch pedal is released. So if no fluid will run out of the slave line, or bleeder then either the pedal is stuck down a little, the master cylinder piston is stuck in some or trash in the mastercylinder from the reservoir down. Most likely if the pedal is all the way out it is a bad mastercylinder. I found while working on these cars that when one component is bad, the other is not far behind it, so always repair or replace both at a time.
