MG Car Repair: 1977 mgb no start, correct compression, combustion chamber

Question
i have a 77 mgb that won't start. it has spark, fuel, air, compression, new wires, coil, cap, points are alighned. the car ran when i got it then just stopped running

Answer
Hi James,
Physics dictate that if you have fuel, fire and compression it has to run. However, there are provisions on each,

You must have the correct compression on all cylinders. What did you have?

Fire (spark) must be a thick blue in color and be at the correct time on each cylinder. Tell me how you tested this.

Fuel must be a combustible fuel (gasoline) and be available to each combustion chamber in roughly the correct mixture with air. How did you test this?

Let me know.
Howard
