Van, could you give me the instructions on how to convert my truck to 12 volts? I get different anwers from different mechanics. Thank you in advance

Hello Nate,
My advice is....don't.

Exactly, what is your truck? A 1008, a 1010, a CUCV??
The ONLY 24 volt system on your truck is the starter.
The alternators are even 12 volt, and interchangable, except for the 1010.

Let me know what the vehicle is, and also if you are positive you want to switch, and I'll tell you more specifics.
