Mitsubishi Repair: 97 Eclispe n/t Takes a while to start.., eclispe, cold engine

Question
I have a 1997 Automatic Non-turbo GS Eclipse, with a dohc 2.0l 16 valve engine under the hood. i also have gave it a tune up recently..

It cranks but it won't start until I keep at it for about 10mins then if I turn it off it will start almost instantly. Then after that I don't have any problems with anything until It hasn't been on for a long period of time. If jumped off by another car it still has the same problem. It also Drives amazing and has no problems when I'm driving the car.

Answer
Stephen,
This could be an indication of a problem in your starter/charging system.  If there is any initial drain upon trying to start a cold engine, it can hesitate without catching.  Once you get the car starter, you can check your alternator and battery voltage.  If the original starter motor is still on the car, you may want to have that checked as well.  Other potential causes are dirty/fouled spark plugs, clogged air or fuel filter, or even a weak fuel pump.  Have any of these items check if you havent already ready.
Good luck!
