hello : i have Mitsubishi gallant 2004 i wanted to replace timing belt i went to mechanic and he replaced the timing belt but the car didn't work they told me that they replaced it wrong way not by marks and they told me that i must buy valves they changed valves the car worked good for three hours i took my car but it stopped after awhile i returned to mechanic they told me i must change all moving parts in my vichle i don't know what to do plz help me if you can

If the engine is run without the timing belt properly installed, it will damage many of the internal engine parts.  Along with the valves, the lifters, springs, and cylinders themselves may have been damaged.  If your mechanic was the one that caused the damaged due to improper replacement of the belt, then they should honor a fix at their own expense.  Else, you would need to have a cylinder head rebuild as they stated in order for your engine to work properly again.
