Mitsubishi Repair: 05 Mitsubishi lancer, mitsubishi lancer, timing light

Question
QUESTION: I have replace the cylinder head and now it wont start right it stalling for thirty cents and we also replaced the fuel pump and cleaned the map senor and mess air flow too at the first didn't start at all cleaning the mess air flow and the map senor cause it to start but stalling for thirty cents. someone say the timing is off but think i check that. what is the problem we are so tired of buying parts for it renting tools. i need help please!!!!

ANSWER: Jeffery,
This is a tough problem to solve, since replacing the cylinder head involves the removal/disconnection of so many critical parts of sensors.  Anyone of which could have been improperly connected or damaged in some way when replaced.  If the car starts, but dies after about a minute, then typically that indicates there's a problem with the air or fuel supply.  It can also mean there's a faulty emissions component, though usually that will cause your check engine light to come on.  If you can pull the computer codes yourself, see if there are any.  Else, you may have to seek professional assistance with this issue.
Good luck!

QUESTION: I have again check the timing is off by one can that cause it to not start right and there isn't any computer codes but I know there is a problem

Answer
Jeffery,
I'm not too familiar with the ignition timing of the Lancers, but on most cars, if the timing belt is off even a single tooth, the car can run rough or not at all.  If you have a timing light and can properly set the timing, I would advise you do so.
Good luck!
