Mitsubishi Repair: 1993 mitsubishi eclipse temp. gauge in middle, mitsubishi eclipse, temp gauge

my 1993 eclipse is running fine but the temp. gauge is always in the middle. even when it has sat for a day and I don't think the radiator fan is running. Is this just the gauge or signs of another issue?

If the gauge is always in the middle, even when the engine is cold (you first start it after sitting over night), then there probably is a problem with one of the temperature sensors or the temperature sending unit.  Have a mechanic check it out.  the biggest issue you could face is if for some reason the temperature is actually above normal, and your gauge is stuck to not indicate it properly to you.
