Mitsubishi Repair: Low RPM, regulator control, generic code

Question
Hello...the check engine light on my '05 Endeavor came on a few days ago.  I had the code read and it spit out two...1) P0002-Fuel volume regulator control CKT range/perf.  2) P506-Idle control system RPM low.  Can you shed some light on what these mean and what I need to do to fix?  Thanks

Answer
Retta,
One code may result in the other one getting triggered.  The code P0002 is a generic code, and most universal code readers will display this trouble code which can simply mean that not enough fuel is getting to the engine.  The other code (P0506) is related to a component that is part of your intake system (Idle Air Controller) which regluates your idle speed.  Your best bet would be to have the dealership scan your car's computer as their scanner is specific for your vehicle, and have the idle air controller inspected and replaced if necessary.
Good luck!
