Mitsubishi Repair: change transmission fluid, eclipse gt, transmission fluid

Hi i have a 2000 eclipse GT automatic v6.
I was wondering what are the steps to change my transmission fluid? What do I need to complete the process?

To really get the job done thoroughly, you'll want to not only drain the old fluid, but also remove the transmission fluid pan and replace the filter that's behind it.  Once the filter has been replaced and the pan reinstalled and properly sealed, you would then fill with the proper transmission fluid as outlined in your owners manual.  If you have any doubts about doing any of this, I'd recommend you take your car to your local mechanic to have it done.
