Mitsubishi Repair: 1996 dodge avenger es 2.5 litre, throttle position sensor, vacuum leaks

Question
What does it mean map sensor voltage too high I put in a new one and it read the same thing I put in new wires plugs rotor and cap fuel filter air filter also it acts like it want to start at times and sometimes it will but runs erratic or idles bad where do I go from here?

Answer
Berry,
High MAP sensor readings can be caused if its reading do not correspond to the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) readings.  So check your TPS to see if it's within spec.

Your MAP sensor generates a voltage as engine vacuum (load) changes. Vacuum leaks can cause problems with the sensor's reading, so check for leaks and the sensor's vacuum connection to the engine.
Good luck!
